Description

In 2014, a company dedicated to the manufacture of flexible packaging and DTC Soluciones implemented a natural gas distributed generation system in order to stabilize its electricity supply and support its industrial refrigeration system (chiller), which is essential for the quality control of the final product.

A natural gas-fired power generation unit was installed, sized to cover a strategic portion of the plant's consumption and directly feed the chiller system. Although the project did not contemplate thermal recovery (0%), it established a robust base for future optimization.
